So sad to hear of the passing of John Farley, I worked at Dunsfold
In the 1970’s and always admired him as a great pilot and a great guy, his Harrier Demos .helped sell the Harrier and it was a thrill to see his ‘ Farley takeoff ‘. His knowledge was a great help to many.
He will be missed.
Not only was John a gifted expert of nozzle-born flight, but also a true gentleman.
Polite, helpful, open minded, true, honest, reliable and equipped with a good portion of humour.
He will always be remembered and I lwill always love him.
