The Reg Day Memorial Museum is now permanently closed.
Housed in two portacabins at the airfield in Dunsfold Park it was a remarkable collection of World War 2 memorabilia concerned with all that happened during the war on the airfield, including a remarkable map of the Normandy landings in June 1944. It was curated by Reg Day and volunteers. Reg Day served with the RAF on the airfield throughout the war. Since Reg’s death the museum has closed and the collection removed to storage.
Note: The Reg Day Museum and Dunsfold Airfield History Society are not connected in any way.
